Install on Windows 10 / 11

  1. Sign up for an account (Sign Up for Free Here) and click the activation link in your e-mail.
  2. Download the installer and run PD-Proxy-Setup.exe.
  3. When Windows asks to install the network adapter driver, press Yes — this virtual adapter carries the encrypted tunnel.
  4. Log in with your username and password, choose a server and press Connect.
  5. Wait until the status says Connected, then enjoy browsing the internet safely and securely.

Requirements: Windows 10 (64-bit) or Windows 11, 100 MB free disk space, administrator rights for the first install.

Install on macOS

  1. Create and activate your free account.
  2. Open the downloaded .dmg and drag PD-Proxy to Applications.
  3. On first launch, allow the VPN configuration when macOS asks (System Settings › Network › VPN).
  4. Log in, pick a location and click Connect.

Requirements: macOS 12 Monterey or later, Apple silicon or Intel.

Install on Linux

Packages are available for Debian/Ubuntu (.deb) and Fedora/openSUSE (.rpm). After installing, use the command-line client:

pdproxy login
pdproxy connect --country us
pdproxy status
pdproxy disconnect

Requirements: 64-bit kernel 5.6+ (built-in WireGuard) or the OpenVPN package for older systems.

Install on Android

  1. Install PD-Proxy from the link we send after sign-up.
  2. Log in and accept the Android VPN connection request.
  3. Optional but recommended: Settings › Network › VPN › PD-Proxy › Always-on VPN and Block connections without VPN.

Install on iPhone & iPad

  1. Install PD-Proxy on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Log in and tap Allow when iOS asks to add VPN configurations.
  3. Enable Connect On Demand in the app settings to reconnect automatically on untrusted Wi-Fi.

Requirements: iOS / iPadOS 16 or later.

Notes

  1. Make sure that you have activated your registered account.
  2. Make sure the program has administrative privileges on first install (Windows) so it can add its network adapter.
  3. Make sure you have an active internet connection before pressing Connect.
  4. If you cannot connect, switch protocol (WireGuard → OpenVPN TCP → Stealth) or enable debug mode and send the log to [email protected].
