Your internet provider, the operator of the network you are on and anyone snooping on the local connection see only scrambled data travelling to a PD-Proxy server, while the websites you visit see the IP address of that server instead of yours.

No activity logs

No. We never log browsing history, traffic content, DNS queries or the IP addresses of sites you visit. We store only what is needed to run your account: your e-mail, username, hashed password, subscription and payment records, and for free plans a daily data counter. Temporary session data is held in memory while you are connected and aggregated counters are deleted within 24 hours. The Privacy Policy has the full details.
For most people WireGuard is the best default because it is fast and light on battery. Use OpenVPN TCP if a network is unreliable, IKEv2 on phones that change networks often, and Stealth mode if VPN connections are being blocked.
